Dream class

The Dream class is Carnival's Fincantieri-built step up of the late 2000s, delivered between 2008 and 2013 and ranging from 128,250 to 133,019 GT. Enlarging the Conquest platform, the design added a full wraparound promenade, an expanded water park and the line's first extensive lanai spaces — outdoor areas opening directly off the promenade deck — while keeping Carnival's familiar atrium-centred layout. Three ships, Carnival Dream, Carnival Magic and Carnival Breeze, sail for Carnival Cruise Line, and the platform also produced Costa Diadema as flagship for Costa Cruises, the largest ship in the class. The four together mark the point where the Carnival formula passed 130,000 GT.
