Atlas Ocean Voyages

Atlas Ocean Voyages is an American expedition cruise line established in September 2019 and headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. It is the United States brand of Mystic Invest Holding, the Portuguese travel group whose cruise interests also include river and ocean operations in Europe, and its ships sail under the Portuguese flag. Atlas was designed from the outset as a yacht-style expedition operator: small ships, a high standard of onboard comfort, and an emphasis on guided exploration ashore rather than onboard entertainment. Its first ship, World Navigator, debuted in August 2021. She was built in Portugal and set the template for the fleet, an expedition yacht of 9,935 GT carrying about 200 guests. World Traveller, a near-sister at the same tonnage, followed into Atlas service in 2022, and World Voyager, launched in 2020 and first employed elsewhere within the group, joined the line in 2023. The three ships listed here are close sisters in size, layout and purpose: ice-strengthened, Zodiac-equipped expedition yachts, equally intended for polar work and for small-port cultural cruising.
