The Grand class is Fincantieri's Princess Cruises platform of the 2000s, delivered between 2000 and 2009 and ranging from 108,806 to 116,017 GT in this phase of the directory. Developed from Grand Princess, the design scaled Princess up to a new size with a distinctive profile — including, on the original ships, a nightclub suspended across the stern like a shopping-cart handle — and a layout built around multiple dining rooms, a large theatre and extensive balcony accommodation. The four ships listed here show the platform's reach: Ventura and Azura were built for P&O Cruises, while Carnival Adventure and Carnival Encounter, originally Princess ships, now sail for Carnival Cruise Line after careers with P&O Cruises Australia.
