The Vista class of 2002 is Fincantieri's shared early-2000s platform for three Carnival Corporation brands, built between 2001 and 2010 and ranging from 82,305 to 90,901 GT. Four ships — Zuiderdam, Oosterdam, Westerdam and Noordam — form Holland America Line's Vista class proper, built around extensive glass, ocean views and a classic cruising layout. The same basic design was then adapted for sister brands: Arcadia for P&O Cruises, and the enlarged Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth for Cunard, which took the platform to just over 90,000 GT. Few classes show the group-platform strategy so clearly: one hull and machinery package, reworked in detail and character for three quite different fleets.
