The Edge class is Celebrity Cruises' outward-facing reinvention of the premium cruise ship, built by Chantiers de l'Atlantique at Saint-Nazaire and delivered between 2018 and 2025. Ranging from 130,818 to 141,420 GT, the class turns the ship towards the sea: cabins open to the water with Infinite Verandas, public spaces face outwards, and the orange Magic Carpet — a moving platform cantilevered over the ship's side — serves as tender station, bar and restaurant across different decks. The design grew with Celebrity Beyond and Celebrity Ascent, which are larger than Celebrity Edge and Celebrity Apex. All five ships sail for Celebrity, and together they mark the line's clearest break with inward-looking ship design.
