Solstice class

The Solstice class is Celebrity Cruises' defining design of the late 2000s, built by Meyer Werft at Papenburg and delivered between 2008 and 2012. Ranging from 121,878 to 125,366 GT, the five ships marked Celebrity's move to a larger, post-Panamax platform, and they are best known for the Lawn Club, a half-acre of real grass on the top deck — an outward-looking, resort-like space unlike anything else at sea when Celebrity Solstice appeared. The class grew slightly across its run, ending with the enlarged Celebrity Reflection. All five ships, including Celebrity Equinox, Celebrity Eclipse and Celebrity Silhouette, still sail for Celebrity, and the design set the upscale tone the Edge class later reworked.
